We built loan.tools to not want your data.

• No accountsNo sign-ups, no log-ins, no email required for anything.
• Your numbers stay in your browserEvery calculation runs on your device. The loan figures you type are never sent to our servers.
• Saved scenariosStored in your browser's localStorage, on your device only. Clearing your browser data deletes them.
• Share linksA share link encodes the loan numbers shown on it. Send one only to people you want to see those numbers.
• AnalyticsWe count page views with Vercel Web Analytics (cookieless) and Google Analytics, which sets a first-party cookie to tell returning visitors apart. Aggregate counts only — no advertising trackers, nothing sold to anyone.
• ZIP and location lookupsTax-rate estimates query public geocoding services (zippopotam.us, BigDataCloud). We don't store what you enter. The location button asks your browser's permission first and only runs when you press it.
• RatesMortgage rates come from the Freddie Mac survey via FRED. Fetching them tells us nothing about you.
